STEAM Day Celebration

Join us in celebrating National Chemistry Week. You and your high school students are cordially invited to Cloud County Community College's STEAM (Science, Technical Education, Agriculture, and Mathematics) Day on Saturday, October 26, 2019 in Concordia Kansas. Cloud County Community College's STEAM day 2019 theme is "Marvelous Metals" featuring the chemistry of metals. The event will feature hands-on scientific investigations as the main focus. Cloud County Community College's Renewable Energy, Chemistry, Biology, Math, Astronomy, and Agriculture Instructors will present activities to share with you and your students during STEAM day. Please take the time to kindly encourage all of your young scientists to attend!

Participants who attend will have an opportunity to be entered into drawings for a Cloud County Community College STEAM Scholarship up to $2000.00 each.

Participants will work their way through the various breakout sessions for the day. A schedule of times and locations will be provided at the 9 a.m. check in session.

The STEAM Day will start at 9:00 a.m. with a check in and distribution of registration packets. All of the breakout sessions will be beginning at 9:30 a.m. and students will cycle through them throughout the day. STEAM day will conclude at 1:00 p.m. with a final presentation in room YL222, where the award winning drawings will occur.
